weatherstrip R&R DIY info?
I need to replace some side window front-rear pillar weatherstip.
Purchased a set; and hope someone has a web page with instructions for the C3 ???
I guess once I remove the old, it will be clearer on how to install the new.

Re: weatherstrip R&R DIY info? (Mike Mercury)
That's how I did it, I just started removing stuff, and it was pretty clear on how to put it back together.
The front stripping is pretty easy, except for the blow out clips. if you are changing those, they are riveted in, and have to be reinstalled with rivets. I used a hammer and a heavy punch to install the rivets, just be careful about pounding on the windshield frame.
The rear weatherstrips is held on with 3 rivets 2 of which are a normal size, the third (bottom I believe) is quit a bit longer in shank, I found a replacement one at the local NAPA. use just enough weatherstripping sealant to make good contact, and don't let it overflow. that stuff is hard to clean up while its still gooey.
Good luck, and if you run into any big problems, let me know. :seeya
