It seams that every replacement chrome part that I have gotten from the "big" Vette parts dealers turns to junk in just a few years. THe side mirror, distributor cover and the air cleaner lid. All show pittiing after just a few years :mad . It's not like I keep the car outside. It's never in the rain and I keep them clean and waxed like the rest of the car. Anyone else see this? I wounder if it's just their way to get you to buy new ones every few years. It seams to me it might be better just to have them rechromed at a chrome shop. Any input. Thanks
