Default b/b hood clearance. what manifolds?

What aftermarket or factory aluminium manifolds fit under a stock b/b hood.

no dual planes. one single plane, the torker2.

Bingo! Asuming you mean that a big block is under that hood. If it's a small block I really don't know for sure...

The 454 LS6 factory aluminum intake manifold is a pretty good one! It is a dual plane with rectangular ports and does fit under the stock BB hood. I actually have both a 435 tri-power and the LS6 setups in the even that I get the overwhelming desire to go back to the classy BB/LT1 hood.

Yeah, I do not know about the SB options...there may be more. But I recently researched this issue ad nauseum when I was going to change heads (and wanted a better intake).

If you have a BB then it is a Torker 2 for oval ports, and you can run an old low-rise LS6 aluminum intake if you have rect. ports. That's what I just pulled off of mine when I went with an L88 hood to give me clearance to run a high-rise dual plane. The LS6 piece is a dual-plane as well.

I just put a factory LS-6 manifold on mine. I have a L-88 hood cause I did have a performer on it. I'm shure the stock BB hood would fit now. I just don't want to deal with the wiper door or having it painted to match. Maybe a future project when every thing else is done. All I wanna do is :steering:
