1980 Mystery Wires/Connectors under shifter console
Under my shifter console, I have two connectors w/o a home!!!!
1) Single GREEN lead with connector
2) 4 Leads (2 yellow,1 gray & 1 black) in a single connector.
If anyone has their console off, can you tell me what those go to?????

I think I have the same single green connector on mine (see pic). I don't know where it connects to and I can't find it on the wiring diagram, however, the car seems happy without it attached.
For the 4-wire connector, I think that is a radio-with-power-antenna connector. That's the only yel/yel/gra/blk connector I can find on the diagram. One of the yellow wires should go to the power antenna relay, which, I believe is in the big cargo compartment behind the passenger seat.

hey tom glad ya finnaly beat the alarm problem - the power antenna cuircuit is kind of a separate option that includes its own relay, brain and wiring - it all packs into the tunnel and up by the radio - the big connector, green wire, orange wire, and yellow wire, all connect to the wiring harness included with the antenna kit - its pretty easy to install and still available from the dealer for around 120.00 - dave

I am going to start yanking my interior this weekend to install sound and heat insulation. The wiring on my car is virgin territory if you would like to come over and take a look. Saturday morning I can pull the side covers for you if you want to take some notes or pictures.
