Default 79 Suspension Issues

Posting for my friend, this is the 79 Vette were talking about. It has a 385 Stroker and the engine bay has been lightened up but the amount the front end came up is like there is no motor in the car. Every thing to the best of our knowlege is on correctly. we were curious as to how we can lower the front end down, the rear end also sags but thats problem leads the springs to blame how ever if any one has any input on this it would be cool. heres some pics.

The car was repainted in the early 90s by the previous owner but you can tell how that turned out.

Make sure the front spring is properly seated in the lower control arm.
See Suspension article in the Vette Improvement Program series in the vettefaqs archives.

Did you tighten the bolts on the end of the a-arm shafts before you put the engine in? If so, loosen the bolts on all 4 a-arms (where the bushings are) roll the car about 10' or so forward and backward. It should drop down. Than retighten the bolts. If that doesn't work check your spring like Flynhi said.

My car kinda has the same thing going on. I've seen several late 70's Vettes that sit way too high in the front. I have the composite TRW spring which levels it out a bit now, but it still sits way too high.
