Default Hooker Side Munts: Anyone have to use spacers?

I'm having trouble mounting the tubes. I have the aluminum rocker panels on and drilled holes to mount the side tubes. When I bolted them up and tighten them down I have about an inch gap and it's pulling the palan down. I was curious is anyone has run into the same problem?

Since I have no clue what you are describing I'd have to say no. :leaving:

i didnt have to drill any holes... i removed the rocker panels attached the pipes and trimed the front edge of my rocker panels to fit. i dont think the damage to the rocker panels would even be noticed if the pipes were not on. dont be offended but did you take the rocker panels off or did you try to mount the pipes through them?
