What type of guage can I replace the clock with?
I was looking at my new center guage bezel and I realized it doesnt have the little hole cut out for the clock adjustment ****.
I never use the clock. It only just recently started working agian (I didn't fix it, it just started on its own  ). I figure rather than drill a hole in the bezel I will get a new guage and not have the hole, keep it nice and clean looking. I was thinking of something like a fuel pressure guage. Or maybe a vacume guage, or air/fuel mixture or something else. Any body else have any other ideas? And where would I buy one of these guages to fit in place of the clock?

Oil temp will give you an earlier indication of low oil condition than oil pressure. If you have an AT, trans fluid temp might prevent you from cooking your trans.

I just installed a A/F ratio and I tought about putting it in the clock hole. The thing is that it's a LED guage and it look like it don't belong there. Beside, when the carb is tuned, you don't really need it unless you run turbos and NOS.
A trans temp gauge would be most usefull in the long run.

It measures the air to fuel ratio, rich to lean...10 would be a fuel rich environment and 16 would be lean...A/F

Oh okay. I actually noticed Air Fuel Mixture on the site for the guage. Now, how would you get that to work? So, I put the guage in, then run a waire through the firewall to the Carb?? If so where on the carb.

Get an Autometer guage with a 270 degree movement, then install a 3 or 4 position switch. Then with the proper sensors in place, you could monitor Oil temp, Trans temp, Rear Diff Temp, Power Steering Fluid Temp, etc. Oh, the possibilities.

Replaced w/ late C3 Oil temp. guage & guage bezel. Have posted before that a switch for the oil temp. guage could be used to measure more than 1.

Yeah but a tuned carb doesn't always stay a tuned carb. :D And they don't have to be LED.
