When I put my VIN in it says the VIN has to be 17 characters long. Mine is only 13...am I missing something? :confused:

I'm pretty sure cars in the 70's or older are out of luck on the carfax deal. I remember reading the service only contains information after a certain date, once the VIN's were "standardized". Thanks for the thought though... Hopefully the link will help the tail end of the C3's...

Cool :) I got mine. This carfax must be really really unreliable, mine came out as Ok on all categories, however I know for a fact that:
The car wsa stolen, it's been in a chopshop.
The car has had damage in the front
The odometer reading was NOT correct (hell the speedo wasn't even connected and the driven hear was busted)
and the last entry was from 1985 :) LOL what a joke.
