Interior door handle.
When I got home with my As Is purchase the interior door handle popped off. The cast part of the mechanism inside the door panel had been broken before and the handle was put back on with a non-original screw. Is it possible to do a non-replacement fix on this or am I looking at a new part inside the door panel? Speaking of door panels how do you get the velcro-like clips to grab on again or is that a replacement job as well?

Those clips wear out. They are cheap and apparently just pop in. Another forum pointed me to The Last Detail for the clips. They are called door panel fasteners...

It sounds like your door panel is half way off, so I'd peak inside to if there's a better way to fix that door handle. Then you can tell me how hard it was

:iagree: TLD will have those clips. They are a good vendor, I have spent over $700 with them on interior in the last week. Great service.

They have the door handle for about $50 as well. Go ahead and replace it. You don't want your first repair to be a "bubba" repair.
