Federal Mogul engine kits
How good are the Federal Mogul rebuild kits? I am going to get the master kit and I wanted to know if it has any pickup on performance?

Federal Mogul parts are very good. They have been around a long time. I'm not sure what brand gaskets are in the kit. I don't think they make them. As far as performance, I don't think there will be much change because you will get the stock parts for the 77 application. Low compression pistons and stock cam. If you want more power, a set of flat top pistons and a performance cam may be the next step. (I checked their site should be Fel Pro gaskets.)
