Default 6 sawzall blades, 1 hour and $10.

6 sawzall blades, 1 hour and $10 thats all it took to make a rusted/rotten C-3 Corvette frame to disappear. (the $10 was a "donation" to the garbage man)

Sweet - well, that's what the garbage man was thinking: a burger and a couple of brews for lunch.

I'm gonna try and recycle my old frame and rear clip into a lightweight trailer.

When I recently moved into my new house I had allot of trash to get rid of and did not want to go to the dump. I could not just put it all in a bunch of trash cans because where I live they supply us with one trash can and we cant have anymore trash than that. Well I just left it all out on the curb with a note attached to a 12pk of Corona. When I woke up all the trash (and beer) was gone.

Rusty, I like that idea, should be cool, and being an original enough vette rear for making it outta, it should have some idea of the independant rear suspension....

We have a dishwasher where I work who goes around collecting aluminum cans from golf courses and really any aluminum scrap she can get. Local recycling center will pay for aluminum and steel. I can't remember the prices exactly but she gets about $50 for two garbage bags full of cans. (not crushed) That would be what.... 5 bucks a pound? I think steel and iron fetch less but I thought it's a great place to take broken car junk. (cracked heads/blocks) I never thought of someone buying my trash.
