Found where my oil is leaking, but what is THAT part??
So my cousin and I were changing the oil, when he says "Why is there oil comming from this thing?". I need to know what this thing is. I think its the oil pressure sending unit, but as I know nothing about cars, I don't know. This part is located just below the oil filter, which is the green thing at the top of the image. If you look you can see that oil is leaking from where the plug goes into the unit.

That is the oil pressure sending unit, but it's hard to tell that oil is coming from there. Clean it off good... run the car a few times and see if it reappears. If you are ready to change oil it's nothing to get a new sending unit and replace it. And use the white thread sealing tape on all the NPT threads. It's possible that the connection going into the block might break loose first.
(Edit)Changed information about the NPT threads.

I cleaned it off a few times, and the oil kept comming out. If you look you will see a small bead of oil forming where the black wire connects to the silver unit. Also, my oil press. needle does a lot of bouncing and always registers over 60 on the oil pressure guage. Could this be a result of a leaking sending unit as well? Oh, also do I need to use a tool to losen that off, or is it just a matter of getting a good grip on it?

It is most likely a 3/8 or 1/2 wrench. it should be rather tight. do not overtighten it and when you use the white teflen tape be sure to keep it a couple of threads back from the edge, you don't want any to break off and plug you motor up. Yes it is simple to change. You can do it.

If the oil is coming out where the wire connects--the unit is deffective and needs replacing. If its coming out around the threads(make sure its not leaking down side) put appropriate sealer on threads and re-install after cleaning--cheap item--replace it!
