Hey, where do you buy your engine parts?
The final answer at my house is we're re-building the stock L-82. It's leaking some oil now, but otherwise runs perfectly. This is Wifey's Vette and is already plenty fast and powerful, so I'm more interested in a re-build 'kit'. I don't plan to bore/stroke it A fresh cam, chain, oil pump, etc... and restore the stock valve covers, air cleaner, intake is what I'm looking to accomplish.
So, who should I call?

I got mine from Summit. You can also try Northern Auto Parts. I've had good service from them also. Here's links. http://www.summitracing.com/ http://www.naparts.com/

I'm just about finished with my BB assembly and have used the following over the course of 18 months or so: Jegs, Summit, Northern Auto, Competition Products, Sallee chevy, GM-Partsdirect.com, Scoggins-Dicky, Napa and my local GM dealer. I usually shop around but have found Jegs & Summit close in price on most items. Summit will usually arrive in 2 days.

Summit and Pace Pontiac (Niles, OH). Pace has a small GM Performance parts showroom and I've found some good GM parts there.

I have used Performance Automotive Wharehouse in the past, But most of the time I use Bowtie Performance Hdqtrs. in Bristol, Tenn (1-800-826-9843). I have had good results with their products and good prices. Hershey
