Last weekend we had 10th Corvette Meet here in Finland. Just over 70 vette came to our meeting. Record from last year is 87 Corvettes. We had a fun time with other Corvette owners, here is some pics from that weekend.

Groovy's car is not on the road yet, but it should be in near future! I was hoping to see the car in meeting, but maybe I will see it later on this year... :cool:

Great shots Riku! It was the best to meet you and Tomi and finally have a Corvetteforum get together. I took few pics as well, I should have them uploaded in about 10mins, if the POS computer is willing to co-operate this time. Too bad I couldn't get the car done in time, it would have been a real blast to have the car there with you guys. I found the weatherstirrping we were talking about they are all in pretty good nick, and they are waiting for you to pick'em up and put them in good use. Just gimme a bell the next time you are coming to visit the area.

'ello mate, I'm still :banghead: for not seeing you @ BG, it would have been great. I'm coming to visit London in 2 weeks time and will try to make it to the Ace Cafe this time. Like you guessed the car is not done yet, but if the god of motoring is willing it should be in drivable condition this weekend so I'm getting pretty :crazy: here!

Those are some really nice pics. It must be something to drive a Corvette over in Europe. They must get some looks, especially the shark cars.

Is the guy that owns this one on the forum? I just got a stinger scoop to do this to my '69 and was wondering if he had any pointers or more photos of how exactly was it bonding in.

Does the raised rear lip "hang" over the vent, or is it flush with the rear of the hood?

BeaterShark: The owner of that yellow -68 vert is not a member in here. :smash: Anyway the raised rear lip of the hood is hanging above the vent. I don't have further details about the bonding of the scoop though. Anyway the car is painted about 8 years ago and it is still in good condition, so the bonding is done correct I guess...
