transmissions, which set up i need, and how i like to race
right now I have a 2400 stall with a th-350 a transgo shift kit and a stock rear end. with a 383 for my powerplant. I was planning on doing a little drag racing.
well this weekend i took my Bullit out and ran it from 45 mph up to about 140 against many many high end cars and other fast cars. I haven't had so much fun in a long time.
anyways i don't think i'm gonna be able to do this in my vette
now in my garage i have a richmond 6 speed with a centerforce double friction clutch and a ram clutch aluminum flywheel.
i also have a 700r4 out of my 92 firebird v6
Any suggestions for a setup with costs or PITA's I will encounter would be greatly appreciated.
I am never satisfied

I have no idea, but you might try posting this in the drag racing section under general corvette topics. :seeya

If I do go with the 400 i will sell the richmond.
But I'm just not sure which to choose.
Anyone have any idea on costs? For either conversion.

Go with a Turbo350 / 400 and sell me the 700R4 !
I would think that best for drag racing at the track would be a built 350 or 400 with a 3.73 - 4.11 gear and some tall slicks. 350's / 400's are cheaper to build to handle high HP / Torque repeatedly. Sure the 700R4 can be built to handle that much, but it will cost several hundred more dollars to do so.

I am looking for some highway action too.
the th-350 I have in there has a transgo shift kit and a 2400 stall currently, but i have never driven, it has been in the shop for 3 months, while it was there i got that installed with new engine.
