Turbo-Jet

I spotted this car at a local Corvette show today. From a distance I liked the look, but look closely at the distance from the wheel spokes to the rotor! That is nuts, it must be like 25 cm! The rotor is barely in the wheel. Too bad vendors will not make these wheels with less backspacing. I actually prefer the look of a zero or positive offset wheel. They look more aggressive, but it seems GM likes as much negative offset as they can get these days.

I like the mirrors and wheels. Looks pretty good to me. I don't think that it could be pulled off on a bumper car though.

My 17x8.5 wheels from Performance Wheel outlet in San Bernadino Ca. already has the backspace built in. It was necessary to put on extra-long h.d. wheel studs in order for the car to "feel" solid. Damn, those wheels look gooood. :yesnod:

Those wheels look great on that Corvette. I'm not so sure I like the mirrors or the rotors being so far away from the wheel, I think I'd need to see it person to make a better decision for my own opinion :rolleyes: . Very nice example of a C3 :)

what size wheel adapters did you get to make them work, i tried putting on a set of 02 wheels that a coworker has on my 81 and they hit the frame a good 2 inchs befor the studs would go in the holes. or are they just replicas with the right offset's ???? i would really like to know so i can do it to :iagree:
