Default custom hood

anyone try to duplicate grandsportC3's hood. If so did you simply bond the parts together or did you fabricate the whole thing. Also I was wondering what he used for a hinge. I love the way it looks but I also love the access he has to his motor.

If you look around you should be able to find a one piece front end. Ecklers and I think Mid-America both make a one piece front end. They don't tilt, but the are all built together, so that would make a tilt install easier. Try also Vancours (sp?) to see if they have something, they do custom C3 pieces.

Really? I've been dealing with them for 10 years now with no problems. I have purchased countless parts from them as well as my friends. The guy as his wife have always been nice.

I agree. The parts I got weren't even finished and they looked like there were spray painted with gray primer out of a rattle can. The guy was a total jerk. BTW- On Ebay, there is an old school Eckler's tilt front and the wagon rear for sale in two different auctions.
