Which Of These Valve Covers Do You Like Best?
Need some new valve covers for my 72. The top one is chrome and the bottom one is polished.
BTW, there is a big difference in price. The top one is about $35 and the bottom ones about $200.

I can tell ya, the aluminum one won't leak. It will seal perfectly. You'll get tired of the chrome ones shortly after they become leaky and changing them becomes almost an annual event.
Besides, there are some really nice polished aluminum valve covers with ball milled flames now.

Well I just ordered the top one for $33.12 plus shipping. If I don't like them can always send them back. Sorta cheap, but I wanted chrome and like the look.

Of those two, I like the second one, but personally I like these:

I chose the second ones for my big block. I like the looks and the edge of the valve cover is very rigid and seals well. Either one looks great

The top ones are more aggresive looking and the bottom ones are more classic...I like the bottom ones.

The top ones are nice looking, but I think they'll leak. Not long ago, I changed my leaking Moroso chrome for the bow tie aluminum. Stopped leaks and looks good to me.

I like the chrome ones for looks. The scripting and flags on the aluminum
ones look like import knock-offs - but the polished AL is way

I like and use the LT-1 valve covers except I paint them crinkle black and then use an emery board to lightly sand the paint off the tops of the ribs giving them a satin finish.
Classic and VERY eye-catching.

The logo on the bottom set blows. And for $200 there are MUCH better versions out there.
