Default Anyone have a carb/EGR etc vaccum diagram?

Something like this one, but more in detail. Like, the whole engine compartment. I have no clue where to run what to what after changing my intake.

Edit: 80 Vette's preferably, not really sure if the late 70's and 81's are the same... Oh, and the carb is a Edel. 1904 Q-jet replacement.

That diagram you referenced shows the basics and a pretty good place to start. However, it depends on what you've got left and year of Corvette. I don't sense we are talking original but perhaps modified. Hoses and emissions got more complicated as the years wore on...you indicate "80's" vette so is it 80, 81 or 82. 80 and 81 would likely be the same.

There is also an air cleaner port out of the backside of the carb (insulator) that ports up to the air cleaner for THERMAC. You also have vacuum lines going to the headlamps but those come from the manifold vacuum port. I've got a diagram on my wall from DR Rebuild which is well done, laminated and poster size so you can look up from the engine compartment and see what's what. Sounds like you should make the $10 investment.

Now having said that...make a list of what's left after you get together and I'll provide that which I can.

And of course if its a replacement carb you'll have to hope its got the correct ports.

My car is an 80. Just installed an Edel Performer intake and had a edel Q-jet replacement. All the ports are the same as the original.

It's documented in the 78-79 NCRS tech manual by color coded hose. Assuming your 80 hasn't changed the hose from the EGR ports to the EVS manifold port and splits onto the EFE charcoal canister. The purpose is at predetermined temps, hot gases are used to reduce engine temp.

But to be sure...you need either the service manual or the Dr Rebuild diagram for specifics.
