need tips on front seal replacement
If got timing chain cover and Im ready to put new seal in. Do I just tap out forward then tap in new one dry or with sealant?

I always uses either red locktight, or non-hardning aviation sealer on metal clad seals. If there is any presure behind the seal I use the red locktite. Otherwise its avaitions sealer. Rubber bonded seals (the whole seal) gets put in clean and dry.
