Rebuiling a q-jet is easy... correctly calibrating and adjusting all of the variables to a specific is really what he does. That's the hard part There are hundreds of different Q-jets. Many are similar but others are way different. Genric rebuilds are just a bunch of parts put together that look like a carburetor but don't work Lars fixes them by KNOWING what is is doing. It's not what he does, it's how he does it.

That's my understanding. He was swamped and ddidn't take carbs for rebuilding anymore, though that might have changed. I got lucky & got in on one of the tuning parties he does for forum members.

I just got mine back and it runs great .Contact Lars for price .Most carbs round trip shipping and labor under 200.00 .Best carb man period .
