need help in ohio w/454
looking to buy a 72 454 in northern ohio. has some engine problems and looking to hire a TRUSTWORTHY pro to look at car with me within the next two weeks .... any suggestions??? c_toscano@msn.com thanks..........

Engine problems are not that hard to deal with. If its a northern Ohio car that spent its days in that potentially wintery climate with lots a salt dumped on the roads and all that, my main concern would be rust. Cage rust and frame rust. A car with serious cancer is hard to bring back. Dropping in a new motor is a piece of cake.

Did you have any details on the eng problems? Where in Ohio is it?

Where abouts in Ohio? I'm in the Bowling Green area, but I will be in the Cleveland area on Aug. 7th & 8th. I'd go look at a car with you if I can work it out.
