[not really OT] I got 'tanked' at lunch today.
People who know me would scoff at this statement. I don't drink too much -
let alone at lunch during work.
Actually, I went to buy a tank of Argon/CO2 for my welder. I had done all the
birdcage work with the flux core wire. The welds came out fine, but for the
frame repairs, I wanted to do the best job I could. So, I set out to a local gas
supplier to purchase a cylinder and have it filled.
I picked out the 40 cu ft as a decent size for my small 120 Amp MIG welder.
It turns out that they were 'all out' of the 40 cu ft size, so the guy gave me the
60 cu ft tank for the price of a 40 !! It's not often that you get more than you
paid for - but it was my day ($20 discount) . This tank of gas should see me
to the end of this resto (I hope). Once people find out you have a welder -
the jobs start piling up.
  :smash:
:nono: No welding in the middle of drinking and partying. :nono:
