Drivers,
I trying to hookup the so called "stock" power steering pump on my 74 SB. Once I got it in place I noticed the pulley stuck out about an inch and a half past the crank pulley. :skep: After looking at the water pump pulley I noticed it was off too, about a half inch past the crank. I also noticed it has places for 2 belts should there be 3 (PS AC ALT )

So does it sound like the water pump pully is not correct or what ?

I looked at mine and it looks like the third groove on the crank shaft for the PS pump is an add-on that bolts to the existing 2 groove pully. If you get that part it will stick out that extra inch and half that you need.
