Default heater control vaccum line

hi everyone, my car was bubba'd before i got it last year, they had replaced the heater control valve with a hose shut off valve.
also cut the vaccum lines at the firewall, so i was wondering if anyone knows
what color this vaccum line is and where it goes through the firewall.

thanks for the help

Originally white, probably yellow by now, and comes out of the firewall behind the distributor.

Replace it. I replaced the deteriorated vacuum line with a bigger rubber vacuum line by cutting it back as far as I needed to. I got the rubber line at a VW dealership and slipped it over the end of the plastic line. It also slides over the fitting on the heater line valve without the little grommet that is already on there. http://home.comcast.net/~chadwick.ro...acuumvalve.jpg
