Stupid carb question
Okay, I set the idle mixture screws and the fast idle. What do you use to set the warm idle?? The soleniod on the side fo the carb?? I understand that it's purpose is to prevent deiseling by shutting the butter flys after the ignition is turned off, but how is it supposed to be adjusted? There is nothing in the literature that I have that explains this.
I have a warm start-up problem and I think this may be the cause.

Re: Stupid carb question (Freepop)
An anti diesel solenoid just screws in or out, to adjust the idle.
I guess there are a couple of different ways they adjust. On my '73 it is just turned with a 1/2 wrench, on the part that touches the throttle. Some the whole solenoid is turned, and then a jam nut is tightened, and then some have another little adjustment screw. Hope this helps.

Yes it is a 1/2 wrench
So that is what I use for the warm idle adjustment?
