ebay cars
At time I wonder if the owners of some of the cars listed on ebay really expect to sell them. For example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2425892086
This '73 has only one picture and the total discription of the car is:
"Very nice. Body off restoration. Everything new."
Does he really expect to sell the car based on that?

It kind of entices the potential buyer to ask questions. I kind of like it better than a big bunch of :bs details myself. Just my .02.

As you can see from his `0' feedback rating, he has neither bought nor sold anything on ebay. This is probably his first attempt at selling and hasn't done his homework. He'll get drowned in emails for info.

Sometimes you do wonder what people mean by what they say on there. There is alot of bs.
But, there are some out there on that site that do actually represent their stuff really well. I have a local friend here that recently sold his very sweet 81 on a different site, then he spent a couple of weeks searching for a 69-72 vert. Well, he bought one off Ebay, and the seller really represented the car well. He got it back home this week, and is very pleased with what he got.
Interesting huh?

Re: ebay cars (RLH)
He may be a new seller and not know how to properly list a car for sale. As he gets emails and feedbak he will learn. If the car does not sell this time, I would expect to see it again witha more detailed description and pictures.
Everything has a learning curve.

Probably in a day or two you will see added text. Something like
"do to the flood of e-mails, here is some more info. Motor is NOT rebuilt, Tranmission was rebuilt 1500 miles ago and I have a reciept. Motor is numbers matching, here are the build codes. The frame has surface rust blah blah blah blah......"
