Door Panel mounting thingies -- What & Where to get?
Those "velcro-like" things that are rivoted to the door frame, what are they called and where can you get them?
The ones on the car are shot. So I'm hoping its as simple as rivoting new ones on there. You may ask "Why not just use the screws alone?" Well some of them are shot too, so I want to clean the thing up. There is actually a damn sheetrock screw with a big washer in use. What a mess.

Most of the corvette suppliers call them door panel fasteners. They are small oval black plastic. The ones I replaced on my car push into the door metal frame, didn't need rivets. The little tabs on the back side are a press fit into the door. My door panels are beat so the mating half that attaches to the door panel does not stay put, had to put some contact cement on the back of them. :smash: :smash:

I got mine at The Last Detail. No minimum order required.
