Stereo doesn't work
I installed my stereo, and it worked for a few minutes, then it flickered on and off, now it doesn't work at all. All the fuses are good; the inline one I added, the stereo one, and the one in the fuse block. All the connections appear to be good and I do have power to the stereo. I am charging the battery again because it was low, the interior lights work, but are dim.
One thing I noticed was that the case was touching the relay on the transmission hump (grounded). Would this blow my stereo?
Thanks

Re: Stereo doesn't work (rexx78)
The metal case surrounding most stereo's is supposed to be grounded, so that shouldn't have blown anything.

Re: Stereo doesn't work (Metal Wulf)
The battery sat in the basement all winter, and it was used to drive my van from storage to my driveway early this summer. When I went to use it last weekend, it was dead.
The battery hasn't been in my vette since September.
