Default Electric Fan in an L=82

I have an electric fan on my 79 L-82. It works if I hook it directly to the battery. There is a sensor in the water neck on the top of the intake manifold but there is no wiring on the sensor and it is broken as well.
How in the world do I ID this fan so I can get parts to make it work?

It is a factory-installed GM fan. The sensor was set for 238 degrees  or when the A/C is on. You can get a lower-temp sensor to replace that one. Check your Corvette catalogs -- you have several, don't you?
