OT: Forum Member Dr. Stingray returns to duty with USMC, photo essay
You might remember during the height of the recent fighting in Iraq, I posted a message about my cousin's son, being wounded in Iraq. I had no idea at the time that he was a forum member. After he got out of the hospital he posted some pictures of him and his unit in Iraq, well he is back on duty in California so here are some pictures of him trying to get back in the saddle.

There is a long essay written by Scott Calvert of the Baltimore Sun.
He'll probably be pissed about my posting this, but I don't care the family is proud of him. He is a prime example of why we should never underestimate young people, no one ever would have guessed that this funny, prankster of a kid could handle the hardships and do his duty with honor.
I know from talking to his Dad that he loves the Corps and his Corvette, and if he does recover enough to return to full duty he wants his Corvette in San Diego with him. So if he gets his wish, you guys in the San Diego area need to help him out.

I recall reading the original post about that. He's one lucky kid. I think he's received more of an education in the ways of the world than most of us could ever hope to.
