Default Question for Drag Racers- Re: Window Markers

What kind of marker do you use to put the numbers on your window? When I went to the track last year I borrowed a marker from the guy beside me, now I can't remember what kind it was. Is it just a dry erase marker? We are going to street legal drags Aug 8 and want to be prepared.
Thanks

Dave

Good 'ol white shoe polish will work. Just be sure and wipe it off the window after your day is over at the track.

Sounds good, battsup. It would be cool to see 2 C3's going head to head!

Does anyone know specifically what flourescent markers they use on the windows? Really don't want to use shoe polish, if I don't have to. Thanks.

I use a product called "Dial-in". It looks like a shoe polish container, but it's a little different. You can wipe if off with a dry rag when it the Dial in dries. I got mine at a local speed shop. Now I need to buy some speed making parts from them

Walmart carries it now. :yesnod: Can't remember where though. Auto? Crafts? Toys? Nice and cheap. Worked just fine for me.
