Default Removing tire from rim

I'm going to get new tires soon and I want to paint up my rally rims before I get the new ones put on. Is there an easy way to remove the old tires myself, or is the cost really low to take it somewhere? I wouldn't think it would cost a lot but I haven't called anyone yet. Thanks.

While putting tires on is easy enough without a tire machine taking them off is another thing entirely. Take them to a local garage and have them removed.

You will never break the bead without a tire machine :smash: :smash:

I bought a portable tire changer from Harbor Freight. They are one sale right now for around $39. Get an extra tire iron along with it. I have mine mounted to the garage floor. I use a 2 HP air compressor that has a 30 gallon tank. I also bought a wheel balancer. If you change tires frequently, you will be glad you invested in the equipment. :smash:
