I'm painting my wheels this weekend. What color paint can I buy locally, from one of the chain stores, that closely matches the original color?

I bought some ralley wheel paint at Autozone that has been on my car now for a couple of years and still looks good. It was in the spray bomb section and it is made by Dupli Color. It is called Steel Wheel Paint.

Here is an image I just shot.

The correct silver for the wheels is Argent Silver. You should be able to get some at most auto parts stores.

I'm spraying mine with Imron mixed to the right code - have a quart waiting for me to pick up.

If you don't have spray equipment, then as said before, you should be able to find Argent Silver in local stores.

I used it to spray some truck ralley wheels, they turned out great.

I thought Argent Silver was the original color. I had mine powder coated, then coated a second time with metallic, they turned out way :cool:
