1980 lights
Hi all.
I am new to this forum. Just purchased a 1980 and the lights will not go up. I can manually lift them up, and when I turn the light off they go down just fine. Where should I start.
Thanks
John

Re: 1980 lights (Jmccreary)
Hey, welcome to the forum :seeya and congrats on the new purchase!
It sounds like you've got a vacuum problem. Maybe a problem with the vacuum actuator or the actuator relays, or maybe there isn't enough vacuum. I'd start by first checking the routing of the vacuum lines up front and make sure they're routed properly. Fortunately my lights work OK, so I've never had to troubleshoot them yet, but someone else should chime in.
