Gotta love the look of new roller rockers
Finishing up the cam install ( CC282 solid ) and I thought I'd snap a pic. I think it's a shame you have to cover the rockers up. They are Harland Sharp 1.5 ratio. Also won't be able to see more than the top of the Cloyes timing cover :cry
Anyway the picture shows the Victor Jr. intake that is going on and with a few more horsepower adding goodies I am taking it to a chassis dyno in a couple of weeks then I will put the RPM Air Gap intake back on for our very own Corvette Forum intake comparison, should be interesting to see which intake is better on the same engine. :D

Motorhead,
That motor looks very good and i sure it will run really strong. How are you going to fit the victor Jr. under your hood? How does it compare in height to the RPM air-gap? I see that you have Sportsman II heads, how do you like them? I am thinking of running Sportsman II heads with a Magnum 270H or XE268 cam, comp 1.52 Roller Tip rockers, and a RPM intake.
Thanks
Kevin

Greg the Dynomax sticker is there for a purpose, behind it is a hole in the fibreglass I put there when I was torquing down the heads, I don't have anything by Dynomax on the car.
Did Mike manage to get that red out of his his hair in your pool ?
Victor Jr. is the same height as the RPM Air Gap.... I hope and I had that under my hood already, the Sportman II heads are great they will support a lot more HP that I have now and they will go on the 400 stroker I a, going to build.

Have to admit....I'm impressed!! Your "old" combo posted somewhere around 280rwhp which I thought was awesome for an SBC. Obviously....not good enough!! Think you can cross the 300 mark now (non NOS)??
