Who Has Installed A HEI Curve Kit In There Vette?
I just bought a HEI curve kit for my 75 and was wondering what springs did you use?

I bought mine from Lars. It came with gold springs only. I told him the specs on my car before I ordered though, so I'm sure he sent the most appropriate ones.

I tried all Summits springs, and then baught a Crane kit and liked the silver/blue combo for best overall response.Every engine's a bit different,so be prepared to play for a while before you decide.
I tried mine for a week at a time to get used to how the springs affected the overall performance.Hot/cold,idle/full on high rpm storming.Of course timing tweaks during the course of the week to eliminate hard starts and pinging, yet sqeeze all the power you can out of it.
This is a cheap way to spice up the response, but is by no means cut and dry.
I discovered my carb was starving the 406 during the recurve process, and had to switch carbs to get the full 6500 rpms out of it.Now the trans is hurt so I can't even run it that hard. :banghead: :mad
