Here are the Aarms in my front end rebuild. I welded the bore that the
machine shop mucked up for me. It came out fine.

Here they are after wire brushing - being degreased:




What a mess !!




On the bathmat:




Rinsed nice and clean:




'Metal Ready' applied to prep suface for POR15:




All dried off after prep:




A nice coat of POR15 (silver):




After it's tacky - just a dusting of Krylon semi-flat black:




Then the next day, a good coat of the Krylon. sweet :




I've fabricated the spacers and have the hydraulic press - so tomorrow I'll be
pressing in the bushings. Stay tuned ...

Well, the 'mess' was actually dirty cleaner (orange based degreaser) - so the
tub came out cleaner, and smelling nice in the end. It's actually our 'boy's bathroom',
but we all use it since I started a 12 month refurb of our upstairs bathroom.

To be honest, I took these pictures before they left for Maine. Kim doesn't
mind me washing parts in the tub - as long as it's clean in the end.
