holy margaritas
I'd be a guinea pig, but looking at those mid range torque figures.....I'm wondering which part of my Vette is going to break first :)

I'd be more worried about the bottom end coming apart at 8,000 rpm!
When BBC go at that kind of range...they go BIG!! :cry

I had a quick look at those when I was doing my engine rebuild. Maybe in the next all aluminum TT big Block those would come handy :yesnod:

Pardon me for being picky. While it is 32 valve, it's not DOHC.
But it sounds like it performs as well.

That is correct, 32 valve, but single conventional pushrod cam. I have looked at these before and although they would be cool  I was looking at the small block setup and prices at the time were starting at $5200. A little steep $$$$$ for me. :yesnod:

I think these heads could really benefit from the use of a long duration roller camshaft. And these heads would probably fix that stupid inherent flaw with big blocks of the rockers being offset or something like that.

in our flat bottom race boat, we ran a 427 mechanical f.i. that ran 976 hp at 8800 rpm. we blew the motor and a rod came out of the oil pan and went through the boat

I have a friend with a a S-10 Chevy truck (tube framed race car) and spins his 427 Big Block to 11K rpms, how this thing stays together is beyond me.

I was all excited too, until I thought about the same thing.
Where you going to find rods that will hold up to that abuse for any length of time? And those heads sure like to rev....

If the forum members provide the heads I will gladly be the Guinea Pig for this project. I will even have the engine built by a pro and document every step. Oh and of course I will take pics my Big smile on my face when I nail the 75 Vette. Well when do I get the heads.

Ill be the gunieapig, but you guys have to pay for them, oh and id need a big block to go with them cause i dont think they would work to well on my 350. Those valvue covers are odd but cool, how the spark plugs run. Id love to get some, eventually.
