82 owners, what shop manuals do you recommend?
Just bought an 82 and I'm looking for a good manual. Eckler's has 82 shop/service manuals and 1966-82 shop manual. What manual do you find you use the most?

I have a bunch. One from MBI (white cover with red lettering) 66-82, a Clymer 70-82, a Haynes 68-82, Chiltons 63-82 and the GM Shop Manual. Now if I could only read. :jester
Seriously the best (and most expensive) is the by far the shop manual. :thumbs: The others have their merits and I use them
too but the shop manual is the first one I grab.

Get the specific 82 GM Corvette shop manual. It has info in it that you dont usually see in a Chiltons type book. I have this and the AIM (Assembly Instruction Manual) specific to 82. These together go a long ways.
