I guess it would all depend on the quality of the hood. I'm afraid not all hoods are created equal. I have a Vanacor's L88 hood and fits great, I'm very impressed.

Here's an Ecklers hood on my 72 without the fender clips on. http://digitalcorvettes.com/forums/s...&threadid=1294

Here's one with the fender clips. http://digitalcorvettes.com/forums/s...&threadid=2465

I have a write up given to me by "Rolling Thunder" describing how to do the glass work. Email me a fax number and I'll send.
