Bah. If you want your car to look like a ricer, go for it!
I went to a "pick-n-pull"-type junkyard and found a couple of seats out of a late-model Ford Probe for my Mustang restoration project. They are going to look fantastic when installed. Only 20 bucks each!!!

The local Pep Boys in my neighborhood carry the same seats, they are amazingly uncomfortable - I'd rather sit on an upturned bucket with roofing nails driven through it......

I agree, they have very little padding. That and my wide azz was too big for them. The side bolsters were a bit much for comfort.

That's enough for me. I hate to spend the money rebuilding my current sets if there is something more comfortable out there. The C-4 seats are just to tight in the ash for me. Maybe I will look for a pair of C-5's or Recaros.

I put C5 seats in my 72 and they are great, they sit about 1-1.5" higher so a tilt wheel is good to have
