This really depends on what your trying to do....Original or Modified.
If Original, any of the major vendors have complete kits, plan on spending a grand plus....
Modified, well that's a different story. There's many differnent directions you can go, I went the direction of: Updated (looks original - but better)
I completely changed the interior color from Cinnabar to Black.
I'll break it down:
Seats: http://www.anthonysupholstery.com, offers seat covers with cross flag embroidery in the headrest area. Imit. Leather covers: approx. $200.00
$75.00 installation (local detail shop)
Dash & Door Panels: Mine were in pretty good shape, so I dyed them using the dye that comes in spray cans you can get at most auto stores, approx. 4.99 a can, you'll need approx. 6 cans, with 6 cans of standard primer also.
Carpet: I pulled mine completely out, and cut my own using a softer more plush carpet for a home (this gave the entire interior a much "softer" look.
Payed: approx. $50.00 for a 10 x 10 piece from a carpet outlet store.
I honestly didn't spend more than $500.00 for a completly brand new interior.
I know some of what I mentioned sounds kinda "Bubba" but, shortly after I finished the interior, I took home a "BEST INTERIOR" award at a local show, and so far this year...I've attended three shows, and brought home a trophy each time.
I must of done something right.

In my car we decided to put a cow in there, that wasn't cheap, but looks sharp. We had all the work done by a local shop here in Toronto, and as I assume you're not going to be shipping the car to get the work done, there won't be much point in giving a plug to the place, that and I can't remember what the place is called off the top of my head anyhow. :jester

Heres a pic of Al Knoch interior and its a bit pricey like all other interiors, but i've heard many people say its the best...top quality stuff including the carpet, seats, door panels...as for the centerconsoles and other stuff, it came from Corvette america. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-...H-Outside9.JPG

What thickness, or type of home carpet did you use, i have brand new corvette style carpet, but i just don't care for the look, how did you get it to stretch and shrink to match the curves. :steering:

Re: all of you guys out there with beautiful interiors... (munday)
Munday,
The carpet I used was a standard "PLUSH" type carpet. Not too thick, not too thin either. Simply remove the carpet that you have (piece by piece) and use that as your templates. When I cut it, I made sure I cut at least 1" larger all around. As for installing it, I used 3M spray adhesive, and the carpet simply formed itself. Although it took longer to do than I thought (2 days) it was pretty straight forward.

For carpeting, just order the pre-molded cut pile carpet. I saw a vert who got his from JC Whitney, and it looked GREAT! It even came with foil backed insulation/padding... Or Mid America had molded loop, or pile carpet kits. If it's not pre-molded, you'll have wrinkles or bunch's.... :smash:
