Default Corvette Therapy

Its 104 in Dallas today, it was 105 over the weekend, there are five teenagers living in my house, four that I fathered and one stray, work is more hectic than anytime in the last ten years, and my wife is going through some type of mid-life crisis, some might call it menopause but its not good no matter what you call it.

Thats where a certain 81 vette comes in, just take off the cover, remove the T tops and put it in gear. Going nowhere in particular just a long cruise in the county with some really good music coming out of the CD player, its just beginning to cool off enough to be comfortable and the stars are coming out. The rumble of a small block coming out of dual exhausts, a long sloping hood that is shining in the moon light, and the soft caress of leather seats....OMG, all is right with the world and God is in His heavens. Is there anything on earth more relaxing than a long ride in your Corvette???

Put in perfect context too! God could've just as easily planned for some mechanical failure. I always acknowledge Him and things go a LOT smoother!

If you pick up the right one then 20 years later you'll have a house full of teenagers you need escape from ;)

did the same thing myself last night--plan on another one this evening--(although, I did have a young lady?? hang out of a passing vehicle and scream "I want to have your baby and I love your car")--rather unsettling to a person of my high moral fiber and spotless reputation---think I'll take a different route this evening.
Who the hell am I kidding?? I'm gonna try to hit the same intersection at the same time tonite. :D

Seriously--these cars are just too
