Default Starter Bendix question... 153 vs 168

What's the difference between the bendix tooth count(or tooth formation) on starters that are designed for 153 & 168 tooth flexplates(flywheels)?

Yep!! I'm still starter stuck. :(

Not a thing. The only difference between the two starters is the nose cone of the starter. And yes you can swap out the starter nose cones from a 153 to a 168. Some starters have larger motors and higher torque ratings.
