Why does my Power steering fluid leave me after sitting up?
Seems like everytime I let my car sit for a week the power steering fluid just drips out one night. All at once. Weird..... :eek:

i had the same problem couldnt figure it out. I thought it was the pump itself but it ended up being a small hose i couldnt even see have u checked all ur lines and stuff?

hmmm.... makes me wonder about my car. I wouldn't know if my ps fluid was leaking becuase some moron designed it in a way that I have to loosen my alternator and swing it out of the way to check. :mad

How much fluid comes out?
If it's a little, you may have a hole in one of the hoses or a bad seal in the cylinder or pump.
Twice, mine has "dumped" a good bit of fluid overnight, then it's fine. I'm wondering if the power steering valve has some kind of pressure bleed off valve in it. Can anyone say YES or NO?
