Default Anyone running a deep transmission pan on a 700r4?

The 700r4 is still alive and kicking, but I'm still leary of putting the wrath of God to the test.I got to thinking that when I pulled 5500 in second and then shifted into drive, that maybe I unknowingly sucked the transmission sump dry. That would explain the feeling of no gear.I've been taking it easy lately to try to gather my thaughts, and thaught I'd concider a deep transmission pan. The stock pan measures about 2 1/2" deep.Does anyone have a B&M deep pan,or other aftermarket pan on a 700r4?If so,how deep is it.I think I can go another inch or so without contacting the pavement. My 3" pipes are almost an inch lower than the existing pan,and they have not hit yet.
