Finally have a stuck headlight on the '82...HELP
We went for a nice ride, parked for dinner, shut off the lights and both pods stayed up. By the next morning only the drivers side is still up. Any quick checks before I pay $$$ for it? I HATE one eyed Vettes, especially mine. First time for this one for me. Its sure nasty getting in there to see the vacuum lines....I think something might have just come loose....

Best thing I can tell you at the start is to put on some old clothes and start checking the vacuum lines, especially the ones around the actuators and the reservoir tank in the front of the car. It COULD be that one of these lines has just come loose and needs to be reinstalled.

On my 82 it was the check valve. Located on drivers side. About the size of a quarter. One inlet two outlets. The cost was about 20. I'm going from memory...but I can go out and check it on my car. let me know.
