Default Which wires and looms for my 75?

I'm planning on running headers and want to get either Blue Max or Taylor wires for the stock HEI. I have a Lars kit for the distributor too. Anyone have some pictures of their wire and looms? I want a nice clean look, not over the valve covers. Is it best to get a universal kit then trim the wires? if so which type/brand of crimper works good with the 8mm wires?
Thanks for the help.

I was real satisfied with the fit of my Taylor "pro series" wires and stock shielding

Big Fish

Do you have Taylor "Spiro-Pro" wires or the "Pro wire" kit? Did you get a universal set or the custom fit set? Also, what angle boots did you get ( 90, 135, or 180)?

Thanks

They are the spiro-pro universal "under the manifold" set with 90 degree connectors. I am running the stock ram horns, I can't honestly say whether the 90 degree connectors would be right for your application. Maybe someone else who has headers will chime in here. My guess is you may want more angle then mine have, I don't think it would have a major impact on fit length.

I am using a set of MSD custom fit wires with angled boots from Summit on my 75. I originally had them with the rams horn manifolds, changed to hooker headers and the wires still fit fine. No burning due to headers at all.

Thanks for the information guys. I think I will use the custom fit Moroso blue max wires and buy a nice wire loom set. Is there everybody here who has used these wires before and could share their opinions of them?

Thanks
Kevin
