Seat Belt Latch Stuck - Any advice??
You should have been there. My passenger side seat belt latch stuck closed with my 6'5" buddy strapped in. How he slithered his way out would have made a great 'Funniest Home Video'. Anyway, has anybody ever torn into one of these latch mechanisms? How do you do it? Would I be better off just getting a new one? Does anyone have one laying around I could buy? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I read your post and thought it was funny as to your desciption. I was picturing maybe you having to take off all your clothes and grease yourself up to get out of there. :D Ssnake-oyl products can fix you right up. I am very pleased with the quality of their service and product, but they are not cheap. Look for another thread on this page regarding retractor problems, there is another supplier listed there that also does seat belt re-conditioning.

It wasn't quite a comical as you picture it, but it was entertaining. Just glad it wasn't my wife. It would have been: "Stop laughing and cut the &%#@**% seatbelt!" Thanks for the advice.
